Step 1 - Discovery

Step 2 - Formulation
Begin developing the product and process. Prototypes of your product developed on the bench under controlled conditions. During development, nutritional information and shelf life are concurrently evaluated.
Step 3 - Sample Evaluation
We prepare sample prototypes and ship these to you for evaluation. Then, we review your feedback and direction. Prototypes are adjusted as needed.
Step 5 - Shelf Life
Shelf-life studies are developed and performed to assess product performance and food safety.
Step 4 - Packaging
Select packaging material that not only aligns with your vision but also provides optimal protection for your product.
Step 6 - Documentation
Product scale-up formulation, processing procedure, Ingredient statement and nutrition facts panel, vendor list with contact information, ingredient cost and ingredient specifications, test results as needed: pH, brix, water activity (aw), viscosity. Cost breakdown spreadsheet showing finished packaged product cost, these items are documented and delivered. Hope DeLong & Associates does not retain any intellectual property - you own your formula.
